In the center of Tournus, a most charming small town of South Burgundy, La Tour du Trésorier offers you accomodation with rooms entirely renovated with taste.

The front of the house is in the heart of the town opposite the abbey and the rear opens onto the countryside beyond, with extensive grounds, ancient trees and a magnificent vue of the Saône.

Built in the defensive town walls  dating from the Xth and XIth centuries. The picturesque octogonal tower was constructed in 1643 by Sauveur canon and treasurer of Saint-Philibert Abbey. Much later, it was  the home of the XXth century litterary critic and writer Albert Thibaudet.

Ideally situated for a stopping place and only two minutes from the exit n°27 on the A6 or for a holiday in Burgundy with many places to visit and activities :

You will spend the night in this beautiful house built in the 10th and 12th centuries, in one of the tastefully refurbished bedrooms. Each of them has its own charm and offers modern comforts.

Some look out to the abbey, and others look out to the river Saône and on the Park.
